Run Through A Cycle
In order for your machine to drain properly, run it through an empty cycle. This will clean out the entire machine and anything that’s been left in there (i.e. fluff, debris and residue). After this, follow any specific instructions that the user manual provides in draining and shutting down your machine properly.
Properly Disconnect Your Machine
It should be simple enough if you’re moving or storing a drying machine as this should be easy enough to disconnect and/or reconnect. Usually, you simply unplug the machine from the socket. However, if you’re doing the same with a washing machine, you will need to ensure that all the water is fully drained and disconnect the hose appropriately. The instructions on how to do so can be found in the user manual. If you no longer have an original copy, you should be able to find the details on how to do so online.
If you’re moving your machines to a new location, it’s so important to ensure they are moved carefully. If they are dropped or bumped in any way, you may find that it affects the overall performance of the machine. With this in mind, you may want to consider enlisting the help of professional and experienced movers such as Joe Bonnie & Son.
