Packing is going to be one of the most important decisions in your move. Household goods that have been packed properly have a greater chance of not being damaged.

Self Packing

• Tips and Procedures
• When packing yourself, you need to make sure that you have a good cushion in BOTH the top and the bottom of the carton.
• Make Sure that all cartons are completely closed and taped closed (Not folded flaps).
• Do not pack books in any carton other than the small 1.5 cartons or a file carton of similar size.
• Properly mark the carton with your name, a brief description

        There are different sized and shaped cartons to help make sure all your valuables are properly packed.

 

Professional Packing

• Professionally packed cartons are marked with your name, the room they were packed in and a brief description of the contents.
• One difference in professionally packed cartons and cartons that are self packed, is the proper amount of paper that is used, both in the top and bottom of the carton. This is done to keep the carton from crushing.
